Primal Hunger
Xander is a very, very good baby. He eats well and sleeps well—we have to wake him up to feed him. But he does scream and wail when he gets hungry. An interesting aspect of this is that he’s not extremely hungry when he screams, because he would eat about 10ml and then fall asleep. This leads me to believe that there is something very primal about being hungry. (I guess it is one of the holy trinity—food, clothing and shelter.)
I’m looking forward to him being able to communicate better with us, as we will start teaching him some baby sign language in the future.
