Four years ago today…
…I shared these words in front of Susanne:
You are my best friend. Everyday, you show me what it means to appreciate life, what it means to be passionate and compassionate, and, most importantly, what it means to love. From our mid-day phone calls to our mid-night talks, your voice, your laughter and your being inspire me everyday with joy, life, and love. Today, my best friend becomes my partner for life, and I’m blessed to have found both in you. I promise: to love and cherish you, to learn and grow with you, to laugh at your jokes and comfort your tears, to live together as companions and lovers in joy and sorrow as long as we both shall live.
They ring even more true today than they did four years ago.
