To Be Titled

Striving to be a good dad, a good husband, a good son/brother, a good political scientist, a good photographer, a good cook and a good homo universalis.
marco:

The values were correct, just mislabeled. So I looked in the source, found the characters that went with <option value="NY"> (the sixth one down, two characters wide), and picked that.
The rest of the checkout went perfectly fine, properly labeling my chosen state as New York.

For some reason the states of the U.S. written out in Korean (Marco doesn’t mention what site this was at). The even funnier thing is that the U.S. states are ordered in Korean alphabetical order. So, it goes from Nevada, Nebraska, North Dakota, North Carolina, New Mexico, New York, New Jersey, New Hampshire and then to Delaware and then Rhode Island, etc. I wondered if people not knowing Korean can figure out just by figuring out the shapes, but many English sounds are indistinguishable in Korean, mainly, “b” and “v” and “r” and “l.”
